The context
A large, multi-level shopping mall with thousands of visitors every day. Its digital directory already let visitors take the map to their phones with a QR code, but they still didn't know where they were standing or how to reach their destination.
The challenge
The initial proposal offered more of the same, at several times the cost and without real-time location. We had to find an alternative that delivered the blue dot, used the equipment already installed and could be implemented without stopping operations.
What we did
- Atlas Scope
We compared the alternatives with their 3-year cost and presented the recommendation to senior management.
- Atlas Spectrum
Wi-Fi network and switching that support visitor location.
- Atlas Signal
Indoor navigation map on web, app and kiosks: like GPS inside the building.
- Atlas Stack
Our own mobile app with turn-by-turn directions and in-house software for the touchscreen directories, on the existing equipment.
- Atlas Sigma
Anonymous measurement of the most searched destinations, the most traveled routes and visitor traffic by zone.
Results
- Our own softwareon the hardware that was already there
- A fraction of the costof a closed platform over 3 years
- The 5Sworking on a single project
